Prof. Bogdan Cvjetković, Ph.D., talked about Phomopsis viticola which, though not a new disease, is considered one of the most dangerous due to its serious consequences. The expert part of the education was dedicated to this disease in view of its biology and prevention. Downey mildew and powdery mildew were also discussed.

Prof. Zvonimir Ostojić, Ph.D. talked about grassing of the vineyard as one of the most important farming measures in certain farming fields.

Goran Ostojić, B.Sc. gave a lecture on the vine protection programme for 2009, and Margita Jurašin, B.Sc. explained to the winegrowers and winemakers the business relations of the company Fitopromet Ltd. with producers.
